Maternal Infant Health Program
(MIHP)
Pregnancy and becoming a new parent can be wonderful and scary at the same time. Downriver Community Services' Maternal Infant Health Program helps pregnant women and new parents connect with the information and support they need to have a healthy pregnancy and baby. Our nurses, nutritionists, and social workers visit with you to provide services tailored to your needs.
Guidelines: Women and Babies are eligible for the MIHP Program if…
- They are pregnant and have Medicaid, or have a baby under one year old who has Medicaid
- They live in Southern St. Clair County or Northern Macomb County
- They have health, nutrition, or social needs during their pregnancy or baby's first year.
