Home and Office Visits
We know it isn’t always easy to get around when you are expecting or have a new baby, so we come to you! Many of our Maternal Infant Health Program clients like us to come to their home. Our team of registered nurses, registered dietitians, and licensed social workers all do home visits and will schedule a time that is convenient for you. If your doctor’s appointment is at Algonac or New Haven Medical Center, or if you have your WIC appointments in New Haven, we can also see you when you are in the office for your regularly scheduled appointments.
During our visits, we will provide you with information on:
- Having a healthy pregnancy
- Labor and delivery
- Breastfeeding
- Family planning options
- Nutritional counseling
- Emotional needs
- Smoking cessation
- Childhood Development
- Parenting
- Community Referrals
