Mission Statement
- To provide a range of community based health and human services which promote the physical and mental health of all members of the community, especially the underserved;
- To provide these services in a culturally sensitive manner with out discrimination;
- To work in cooperation with other agencies, organizations, and individuals with similar goals and missions;
- To maintain the highest professional and ethical standards in carrying out these objectives; and
- To provide services consistent with federal and state laws, and consistent with the internal revenue service code.
Since 1975, Downriver Community Services, Inc. has provided an array of quality medical, behavioral and educational health and support services to the communities of St. Clair and Northern Macomb Counties, and is assisted in this endeavor by various private and public funding sources. Downriver makes every effort to ensure that all the needs of each patient that it serves are met and works earnestly to coordinate care where necessary.
